What are Prayer Points?

Prayer Points are detailed words that we release out of our mouth in faith which are basically God's will for us and they are targeted to a specific destination with great detail to receive a desired outcome.

Prayer Points are a great part to Spiritual Warfare.
​If we aim at nothing we will hit nothing.

​Prayer Points command your day and the only way you can command your day is to remind the enemy that he is defeated which is based on truth of our redemption through the blood of Jesus, the word of God, through the power of the Holy Ghost  and by effectively using the name of Jesus in a detailed way for maximum results.

When we look at life, life is full of details. It's very hard to paint a picture for another who has never seen what you have seen with a few details and it's the same with prayer. God doesn't require that our prayers are just wordy but he himself is so detailed about everything and since we were made in his image and likeness, as we grow closer to God he does desire for us to be more detailed when we make requests. 

I remember one story, a young lady asked God for a man that she could marry. 
Didn't give any specifics, just said God give me a man that she could marry.

God brought one man after another into her life and every time they came, she prayed, "not this one, not that one," and so on. Then God told her, "you didn't give me any specifics." Not that God would do that with anyone. She was young but wise and had a sense of humor, well so does God. After those experiences, she was wise enough to learn to be more specific with God when talking to him, praying to him, etc. 

Think about how many details there are in a flower, a bubble bee, a human being and so on. Concerning a human being, there are layers upon layers within which houses our spirit and soul.

Try thinking about that for a minute then try talking about that subject in 1 minute, or even an hour. Most likely, you would not be able to speak about every aspect of a human being whether in 1 minute or an hour, especially when you add the spirit and soul into the equation. That's the detailed God we serve and since we were made in his image and likeness, for the mature believer, we should be more detailed in our prayers as we grow closer and closer to our magnanimous and creative, unlimited heavenly Father and Almighty God. 

​Never limit yourself to just a few words that you have always prayed. It's always best to be specific with God and as the years go by we should grow in wisdom and use it in our prayers.

​However the very, very best prayer to pray is to pray in the spirit about a matter. The Holy Ghost can and will pray exceeding, abundantly far beyond we could ask or think. Pray through me Holy Spirit, perfect those things which concern me, make it clear, make right, make all things come out good concerning (state the matter/name/idea,business opportunity/etc.) according to God's perfect will. I am laying down my very best efforts according to my understanding and leaning on you totally. Thank you for your assistance. I know with your help, all things will come together accordingly."

NOW PRAY IN THE SPIRIT UNTIL YOU HAVE PEACE

Please note: if you don't experience peace (breakthrough) the first time you pray, do it again and again until you do. Perhaps it might require you to set aside time each day to pray it through day by day until it is finished. Many issues in life have multiple layers which requires multiple times of prayer. Add fasting to your prayers, have others whom you trust which have your best interest to agree with you in prayer, praying in tongues also. The idea is to never quit until you have peace.
So pray it through in tongues until you experience (shalom) peace about the matter.
